Performance Groups

We believe performing in front of an audience—whether in a large theater for hundreds of people, in a national competition before critical judges, or in an informal setting at a community event—is one of the most important components of a dancer's training.

Mad City Dancers is our resident performance and competition team, accepting dancers by audition from ages 9 and up.

Apprentice features the dancers who are first years and new to the company.

Junior Company features the younger dancers in the studio company, generally ages 9 to 13.

Senior Company comprises older dancers, generally ages 14-19.

Dance Wisconsin is a not-for-profit company that belongs to the prestigious Regional Dance America (RDA). Members perform in three major productions during the year. They also attend and perform at the Regional Festival each spring. Placement is by audition only for ages 12-adult.
